Countywide Road Maintenance Districts
This map includes all six road maintenance districts in Wayne County. Each maintenance district is responsible for road surface maintenance, snow removal, sweeping, ditching, guardrail repair and installation.
Road Maintenance District 1
District 1 maintains all primary county roads in Detroit. This district operates out of the Wyoming Yard located at 14380 Wyoming, Detroit (313) 933-4913.
Road Maintenance District 2
Redford Twp., Livonia, Northville, Northville Twp. Plymouth, Plymouth Twp., Dearborn Heights north of Ford Road. District 2 operates out of the Norton Yard located at 27600 Grantland, Livonia. (313) 937-0232.
Road Maintenance District 3
North half of Taylor, Romulus and Van Buren Twp and all of Canton Twp., Westland, Garden City Inkster and Wayne. District 3 operates out of the Wayne yard located at 3825 Howe, Wayne. (734) 729-2010.
Road Maintenance District 4
South half of Romulus and Van Buren Twp and all of Sumpter Twp., Huron Twp, Brownstown Twp. Grosse Ile, Twp., Rockwood, Flat Rock, Gibraltar, Riverview, Trenton and Woodhaven. District 4 Operates out of the Sibley Yard located at 21300 Sibley, Brownstown. (734) 282-0838.
Road Maintenance District 5
South half of Taylor, north half of Dearborn Heights, and all of Dearborn, Allen Park, Melvindale, Ecorse, River Rouge, Southgate, Wyandotte and Lincoln Park. District 5 operates out of the Goddard Yard at 15645 Goddard, Southgate. (734) 287-6480.
